Experience
Candidates should have prior experience working in a healthcare environment such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, outpatient clinics, or specialty practices like dermatology or internal medicine. Experience with hospital settings—particularly Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers—is highly valued. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is essential for managing patient data efficiently. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding standards, and medication administration procedures will enable you to support clinical teams effectively. Previous roles involving X-ray coordination or OR experience are advantageous. A background in medical-surgical units or geriatrics enhances your ability to serve diverse patient populations across outpatient and inpatient settings. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred to ensure preparedness for emergency situations.
